I bought this to replace my engine to a 18hp B & S Intek engine (B & S 31H777) in my Craftsman LT1000 riding mower. It bolted right into the same holes and the electrical connections were the same. The crankshaft had the same dimensions as the 18HP so went directly to the pulley. The only changes I had to make was to get out of the new muffler that came with it and reuse my original muffler, but it bolted right no problem. I’d also add an oil change extension. I mounted the throttle cable, laid on the gas hose, then filled it with oil and fired it up at first Versuch.Es a great replacement engine and you can not just deal with it. I got a brand new complete engine with three more horsepower for about the same price as a replacement restored engines and a lot cheaper than a new OEM engine replaced. It also comes with a better warranty (two years) than the newly manufactured or obtained a new replacement engine. Rating: 5.5

This engine was developed by a Toro dealer as a replacement for my TimecutterZ 16TE 210 000 series Briggs & Stratton engine recommended. It came in 4 days (with free shipping) ready to bolt in. Installation was simple, and the only change was necessary to remove the wiring, which I replaced with the belt from the original engine. It has about 10 hours to run without problems. Rating: 5.5

First of all I would say that I normally do not write. But I was so impressed, I felt compelled to make an exception in this case. Secondly, I would like the first two reviewers for giving me enough information about this product on this purchase with confidence to the end of last summer danken.Am 17 5 hp motor in my 2003 MTD lawn mower failed completely. I was hoping that this last winter I could find a slightly larger model closeout, as my previous mower, as I have a 2 acre garden. However, living in Alaska, it has disadvantages when it comes to hard goods and I never found a suitable replacement for under $ 2,000, $ 2,500 with an excavator. The estimates for the reconstruction of the 17th 5 ran 400-550. And local suppliers 17th wanted over 800 for a replacement 5 engine, almost a grand for a similar diesem.Stellen you my surprise when I found this model 21 HP for $ 539 with free shipping. I read the first two reviews, pulled the old motor with the shaft and made measurements to verify the purchase. This was on Friday evening, Wednesday morning I got a call from my wife told me that my engine was via FedEx (came all the way to Alaska). It was very well packed and very comprehensive. One thing that has not been mentioned that the holes were not pretapped I took the engine to a local mechanic and had the mounting holes fit on my screws. An hour later work (I have an air ratchet) and my lawn mower was in the yard for a test run. Imagine plug-and-play engines. I bought this motor to replace a 18th 5 HP B & S engine on my Murray riding lawn mowers that oil was headed. This was a much lower cost than the “B & S,” said substitute, but I had no way to know for sure it would fit, the electric system would match-up, etc. I have confirmed that the wave size and length were OK and the total size of motor looked rechts.Ich could not believe that I am buying a machine from Amazon. . . but it was too good to abandon for a business. Free shipping with Prime, $ 300 less than the “recommended” is replaced, another heavy duty, pressure-lubrication system, oil fiter, etc. I thought that I could certainly find a way so that it came packaged very well funktioniert.Es . . . . in two days. It bolted right up and just plugged in the electrical system I do not believe it took me more than two hours to complete the installation. . . . . . I could not believe it. I added gas and oil, and it started right up. He exceeded my expectations. Thanks, Amazon. Rating: 5.5
